The Andhra Pradesh Forest Department (APFD) has not uploaded the Admit Cards / Hall Ticket for recruitment of the candidates in various posts.  Andhra Pradesh Forest Department is likely to notify very shortly the exact date for uploading of the e-Admit Cards /  Hall Examination Tickets for various posts, viz., Forest Section Officer, Forest Beat Officer, Asst. Beat Officer, Bungalow Watcher, Thanedar and Technical Assistant in A.P. Forest Department.

We are keeping a close watch on the Andhra Pradesh Forest Department announcement in this regard and would upload on our web portal www.OnlineExamResult.in the information for the candidates about downloading of the e-Admission Certificates through A.P. Forest Department Online Link.  The candidates, therefore, are advised to bookmark our website and stay in touch with us to obtain more updates in respect of the Written Examination results as well as the Interviews in addition to the final selection / final results scheduled to be held subsequent to declaring of the Written Examination as we would continue to bring quicker updates at regular intervals and upload the same for the ready reference of the candidates.

 APFD: Cut off Marks / Minimum Qualifying Marks:

In order to be shortlisted for final selection, a candidate is required to obtain a minimum of 35% of marks in each paper with an aggregate of 40% in total for the next step.

The appearance in all the papers at the Written Examination as per rules is compulsory. Absence in any of the papers will automatically render his / her candidature as disqualified.

 Written Examination:

The Qualifying examination for the posts of Forest Section Officer, Forest Beat Officer, Asst. Beat Officer, Bungalow Watcher and Thanedar shall consist of THREE (3) papers.

Paper I: Essay Writing in English or Telugu or Urdu. This examination will be of ONE (01) hour duration and maximum marks of 20.

Paper II: General Knowledge .This examination will be of one-and-Half-hour (1½ or 90 Minutes) duration and maximum marks of 100.

Paper III: General Mathematics. This examination will be of one-and-Half-hour (1½ or 90 Minutes) duration and maximum marks of 100.

Mere securing minimum qualifying marks does not entitle a candidate for being considered for selection.

Walking Test and Medical Examination: The candidates declared qualified by Andhra Pradesh Forest Department in the Written Examination and shortlisted (in 1:2 Ratio) will be required to undergo a medical Examination to be conducted by a Medical Board referred by the FOREST DEPARTMENT on payment of Fee as applicable and produce a certificate signed by the Medical Board in the form prescribed by Article 49 of the Civil Service Regulation testifying that the candidate has sound hearing and general physical fitness for outdoor work in the FOREST DEPARTMENT.

The physical measurements mentioned in the Medical Certificate shall conform to the specifications prescribed for the post; failing which the candidature of applicant shall be rejected.

The Eligible candidates shall be subjected to the test of walking. In case of male candidates, a distance of 25 Km. walking is to be completed in 4 hours duration. In case of woman candidates, a distance of 16 Km is to be completed in 4 hours duration.

The final selection for the abovementioned posts shall be done from amongst the persons who have qualified in Walking Test and based on the marks secured in written examination, i.e., Essay writing, General Knowledge and General Mathematics duly observing the roster points and the bonus marks wherever applicable.

If the candidate has applied for more than one post and was found qualified for more than one post, the selection shall be based on the preferences indicated in the application form subject to availability of vacancies.

Method of Selection for Forest Section Officer/Forest Beat Officer / Assistant Beat Officer / Bungalow Watcher / Thanadar:

Physical Measurements: The candidate must obtain Physical Measurement Certificate issued by Medical Officer not below the rank of Civil Assistant Surgeon, and should upload along with the application form. The candidates must furnish the certificates to the Forest Department at the time of certificate verification.

Andhra Pradesh Forest Department shall not allow any candidate to write the examination without having the physical measurements required.

Method of Selection for the post of Technical Assistants:

The Written Examination for the said post shall involve a Qualifying examination consisting of THREE (03) Papers as follows.

Paper I: Examination in the subject of Draughtsman (Civil) Trade, i.e., ITI or its equivalent examination: This examination will be of THREE (03) hours duration and a maximum 100 marks.

Paper II: General Knowledge. This examination will be of One-and-Half hour (1½ hour or 90 Minutes) duration and a maximum marks of 50.

Paper III: General Mathematics: This examination will be of One-and-Half hour (1½ hour or 90 Minutes) duration and a maximum marks of 50.
