ASRB Assistant Application Form 2014 Apply Last Date 29th September:

The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB), New Delhi, through its Advertisement No. F.No.5(1)/2013 – Exam – I has invited the Application Forms through ASRB Online Portal for recruitment of the suitable candidates in the Post of Assistant (Direct Recruitment) Examination – 2014 at the Indian Council of Agricultural Research and its allied Research Institutes in various parts of the country.

The Last Date for receipt of the duly filled-in Application Forms through Online from the candidates at the Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board is the 29th of September 2014.

The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board has not intimated the exact dates for holding the All India Competitive Examination, 2014 for Direct Recruitment (DR) to the vacant posts of ‘Assistant’ In the ICAR and its Research Institute.

The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board has not officially announced the date in regard to generating the e-Admit Cards / Hall Tickets for the Post of Assistant.

Our www.OnlineExamResult.in team expects the Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board to announce in October 2014 the separate appropriate dates for conducting Online Test and Descriptive Test to be held in different cities of India.

The candidates are advised to visit the Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board Website for checking out the names of the Examination Centers for Preliminary Examination – 2014 and Main Examination – 2014 for the Post of Assistant.

Similarly we expect the Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board to generate and upload on its Website the Test Admit Cards / Hall Examination Tickets, at least, two week prior to conducting the Online Preliminary Test, 2014. The Agricultural Scientist Recruitment Board (ASRB) will hold an open Competitive Examination to the post of Assistant under the Pay Band (PB) – II.

The Online Test or Assistant Post (DR) Preliminary Examination, 2014 will be followed by a Main Examination for those who will qualify in the Preliminary Examination. The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board shall conduct the Preliminary Examination, 2014 through On-line mode.

The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board would prepare and release the Final Merit List of the successful candidates only after the declaring the result of the Assistant Post Main Examination – 2014 is announced and will be based on the marks obtained in the Main Examination only by the candidates. The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board at its own discretion shall fix all criteria in regard to the Minimum Cut-off Marks for each category and will be final and binding).

We would display separately on our Website www.OnlineExamResult.in the Online Objective Test Result and the subsequent Descriptive Test Result in conjunction with the Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board announcements at regular intervals.

  • The candidates selected under Persons with Disability (PwD) category can be appointed against any category for the Posts; viz, UR / SC / ST / OBC being horizontal reservation.
  • The final merit list shall be prepared based upon the marks obtained in the MAIN EXAMINATION viz. out of 200 marks for the General as well as in respect of all other reserved categories (viz., SC / ST / OBC / PH / EXS).

Educational Qualification:

The candidate must be a Graduate from a recognized University.

A candidate must hold a Degree of any of the Universities incorporated by an Act, of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possesses an equivalent qualification.

NOTE I: The candidates possessing professional and technical qualifications, which are recognized by the Government of India as equivalent to Professional and Technical Degree will also be eligible for admission to the examination.

NOTE II: Candidates who have appeared at an examination the passing of which would render them educationally qualified for the Council’s examination, but have not been informed of the result and also the candidates who intended to appear at such a qualifying examination will not be eligible for admission to this examination.

NOTE III: The candidates must possess original or provisional Bachelor Degree and for that the crucial cut-off date will be 29.08.2014.

Age Limit:

A candidate should have attained the age of 20 years and must have not attained the age of 27 years as on 29.09.2014.

The Upper Age Limit is relaxable up to 45 years in the case of serving regular employees of ICAR in the Administrative (Ministerial) Category. The candidates are advised to visit the ASRB Notification, 2014 to check out the prescribed relaxable Upper Age Limits in respect of OBC (NCL) / SC / ST / PwD & Other bona fide candidates.

The candidates have to pay the Application Fee by using Debit / Credit Card or by making payment at any of the Syndicate Bank Branch functioning in the cities of Examination using the system generated challan, which will be available in Part – II (payment of Fees of the online application form).

Transaction charges for Online / NEFT / Challan payment, as the case may be, has to be borne by the candidates.

All Female candidates and candidates belonging to SC / ST / PwD categories are exempted from payment of any Fee.

No Application Fee Exemption is, however, available to OBC candidates and they are required to pay the prescribed Fee in Full.

PwD candidates are exempted from the payment of Application Fee provided they are otherwise eligible for appointment to the services / Posts to be filled on the results of this examination on the basis of the standards of Medical Fitness for these Services / Posts (including any concession is specifically extended to the Physically Challenged) as applicable by the Government of India rules.

The online Application Form available on the Link “Vacancy” on the website www.asrb.org.in can only be used for the purpose.

Please note that Online Application Form and pre-printed system generated SYNDICATE Bank Challan available on the said website only will be valid.

Note:  

1. The Online Test consisting of 100 (One Hundred) Multiple Choice Questions.  The Online Test containing 100 MCQs shall carry Maximum Marks of 200 and would be of Two Hours duration.

2. There shall be Negative Marking for the Wrong Answers submitted by the candidates. One Mark will be deducted for two wrong answers.

3. All sections of the Question Paper for the Preliminary Examination will be set both in English and Hindi languages except section – A; i.e., English Comprehension.

Main Exam (Descriptive Type):

(Main Examination will be taken only by the candidates qualifying the Preliminary Examination – 2014).

The Main Examination consisting of Four (04) Test Papers shall carry a Maximum of 200 Marks.  The Main Examination – 2014 for the Post of Assistant (D) shall be of Three (03) Hours duration.
