Advice on Counseling for Seat Allotment & Option Form:

Seat Allotment and Option Form Schedule

Third Round: Option Form Filling and Admission As per the Date notified

A Candidate must be Graduate from a Recognized University.

  • Attested True Copy of the Statement of Marks / Passing Certificate of the Graduate Degree.
  • In case of Change in name after marriage – Attested true copy of Marriage Certificate / Government Gazette.
  • The Candidates belonging to their respective Category and Special Category Attested True Copies of Caste / Disabilities / Displaced J&K Residents among others.

Pattern of the B.Ed. CET / ELCT – 2015:

Common Entrance Test (CET):

The Common Entrance Test – 2013 will comprise o the subjects namely, Mental Ability, Teacher Aptitude and General Knowledge of 50 marks and will be of One hour’s duration of the Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions (OTMCQs).

Medium of the CET: Marathi / English only.

Along with Common Entrance Test, the English Language Content Test (ELCT) will be conducted for 50 Marks for the candidates desirous of seeking admission in English Medium Colleges.

Only those candidates who will secure minimum 36% Marks in the ELCT will be eligible for Admission into English Medium Colleges of Education.

Distribution Of Seats
1) 70% Quota (For Home Universities)
2) 28% Quota (Universities in Maharashtra other than Home or State University)
3) 2% Quota (Universities other than Maharashtra State)
The Candidates applying for 70% Admission Quota will be automatically considered to have applied for 28% Admission Quota.
 
70% Quota
For a college of Education in the concerned University-region, 70% Seats of the Total intake capacity of that College will be reserve:

28% Quota

For a College of Education in a University-region, 28% Seats of the total intake capacity of that College will be reserved for the candidates, who are Degree Holders (First Degree) of the Statutory Universities other than the University concerned, and Agricultural Universities in the Maharashtra State, Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth (Pune), Centers of Indira Gandhi Open University in Maharashtra, Yashwantrao Chavan Open University, Nashik. The Seats reserved for the Son / Daughter / Husband / Wife of the persons Serving in Maharashtra in active military services in the 28% Quota will be made available for the Candidates who are Degree Holders of outside Maharashtra Universities and are Son / Daughter / Husband / Wife of persons in active Military service, working outside Maharashtra State, but otherwise are residents of Maharashtra.

02% Quota

2% Seats of the total intake capacity of the Colleges of Education will be reserved for the Degree Holders of the outside Maharashtra Statutory Universities and Open Universities.

28%+2% Quota

If adequate applications for (28+2)% Quota are not received then the remaining Seats will be filled from the Waiting List of the 70% Quota of the concerned University Region.
