Eligibility Criteria:

Eligibility Criteria is to be considered as per RRBs CWE-III Advertisement published in Employment News/Rozgar Samachar Issue Dated 28th June- 4th of July, 2014 released by IBPS and posted on the IBPS’s website www.ibps.in.

*Language Proficiency-

The candidates applying for the posts of Officer Scale I and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) are required to possess proficiency in the local language of the State / UT (The condition does not apply for the posts of Officer Scale II and III). For ensuring proficiency in local language, the candidate should have –

Passed HINDI as one of subject in 8th standard, but opted Sanskrit as one of the subject in 10th Board Level.

Or

Native Language / Local Language i.e. HINDI at 10th Standard Level.

Or

Local language, i.e. HINDI at any level above 10th Standard up to Graduation Level.

Pre-Requisite Qualifications:

Candidates who have been declared qualified in the RRBs-Online Test Common Written Examination conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection in September / October 2014.

Selection Procedure:

For Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Bihar Gramin Bank shall make selection of the candidates on the basis of their performance in the Regional Rural Banks – CWE-III conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) in September / October 2014 and Personal Interview.

For Officer Scale – I: Bihar Gramin Bank shall make selection of the candidates based on their performance in Regional Rural Banks – CWE -III conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection in September / October 2014 and Personal Interview.

For Officer Scale – II (General Banking Officer): Bihar Gramin Bank shall make selection of the candidates on the basis of their performance in Regional Rural Banks – CWE-III conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection in September / October 2014 and Personal Interview.

For Officer Scale – II (Specialist Officer*): Bihar Gramin Bank shall make selection of the candidates on the basis of performance in Regional Rural Banks – CWE-III conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection in September / October 2014 and Personal Interview.

*IT, CA, Law, Treasury, Marketing and Agricultural Officer

Note: The experience required for Officer Scale-II, i.e. 1 or 2 years, as the case may be, should be of any Bank or SEBI recognized Financial Institutions

For Officer Scale-III: Bihar Gramin Bank shall make selection of the candidates on the basis of their performance in the Regional Rural Banks – Common Written Examination – III conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection in September / October 2014 and Personal Interview.

Bihar Gramin Bank would draw up a Merit List of the candidates for final selection on the basis of the Total Weighted Scores (TWS) obtained by them in the Common Written Examination held by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection and Personal Interview in descending order under each SC/ST/OBC/UR category.

Personal Interview:

Depending on the number of vacancies, Bank will call from among who have applied to bank, the number, equivalent to three times the number of vacancies shortlisted based on their Total Weighted Scores (TWS). Remaining applicants, if any will not receive an interview call from the Bank.

Bihar Gramin Bank has allocated 30 Marks out of 100 Marks for qualifying the Written Test and Interview. The Qualifying Marks, i.e., benchmark in the Interview shall be 40%, i.e., 12 out of 30. The relaxation to SC / ST candidate shall be as per extant Government Guidelines.

Submission of Indemnity Bond / Security Bond:

The Candidate finally selected will be required to deposit Indemnity Bond for the advertised Posts as follows:
