The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) shall issue in the last week of March 2015 its Notification in respect of the Central Armed Police Forces (AC) Examination, 2015.
CAPF AC Exam 2015 Syllabus
The Union Public Service Commission has released the detailed syllabus for the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) AC Exam 2015.
Online Registration for Central Armed Police Forces (AC) Exam – 2015 shall commence w.e.f. the 11th of April 2015.
The Last Date for Online Registration for CAPF (AC) Examination – 2015 is the 8th of May 2015.
The Union Public Service Commission shall conduct on the 12th of July 2015, Central Armed Police Forces (AC) Examination – 2015 comprising Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions.

UPSC Central Armed Police Forces (AC) 2015 Exam Pattern
The Central Armed Police Forces (AC) Examination – 2015 shall consist of Two Test Papers, viz.,
(i) General Ability and Intelligence
(ii) General Studies, Essay and Comprehension.
General Ability and Intelligence Test Paper – I:
The Objective Test Paper set both in Hindi and English languages shall comprise 125 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions. The Test Paper carrying Maximum 250 Marks shall be of Two (02) Hours’ duration.
General Studies, Essay and Comprehension Test Paper – II:
The General Studies, Essay and Comprehension Paper – II shall be of Descriptive Type. The Paper containing Six (06) Descriptive Questions shall be set both in English and Hindi languages. The Test Paper carries a Maximum of 200 Marks and would be of Three (03) Hours’ duration.
Penalty for Wrong Answers:
As regards General Ability and Intelligence Paper, there would be Negative Marking. There shall be No Negative Making in General Studies, Essay and Comprehension Test Paper.
There will be Penalty for Wrong Answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers as mentioned hereunder:
i) There are four alternatives for the answer to every question printed on the Optical Markup Reader (OMR) Sheet. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, One-third (0.33) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
ii) If a candidate gives more than one answer, it will be treated as a wrong answer, even if one of the given answers happens to be correct, yet there will be the same penalty to that question.
