Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRCL), through its Notification dated has invited the Online Application Forms from the eligible candidates to various posts advertised by it. The Online Registration has already commenced w.e.f. March 11, 2014. The last date for acknowledgment of the Online Applications at Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. is April 15, 2014.

N. B. First, Candidates have to apply online, and then send the registration slip, with ink signature, photograph, thumb impression, declaration etc. through ordinary post only, to reach DMRC post bag by 22/04/2014.
We would bring quicker updates including the Dates of the Written Test, final Results and Interviews in respect of all Posts except the post of the Maintainer (Post Code No. 07). Post Code No. 07 would not necessitate any Interview as it is the direct Recruitment.

Discipline/Trade wise distribution of vacancies of Maintainers (Post code-07) (Including reserved categories).
All vacancies are advertised by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. are provisional and subject to increase / decrease.
A non-refundable Fee of Rs. 400/- in case of UR and OBC (including Ex-Servicemen) and Rs. 150/- as non-refundable Fee to be paid by SC / ST candidates.
The candidates selected for posts of Station Controller / Train Operator, Jr. Engineers (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Civil) will have to execute a surety bond of a sum of Rs. 75,000/- & Cost of training (Rs. 22,000/-) to serve the corporation for a minimum period of three years (exclusive of the period in which one remained on LWP or EOL) and also a three months prior notice, will be required before seeking resignation from the corporation.
The candidates selected for posts of Customer Relations Assistant, Maintainers will have to execute a Surety Bond of a sum of Rs. 75,000/- & Cost of training (Rs. 15,000/-) to serve the corporation for a minimum period of three years (exclusive of the period in which he remained on LWP or EOL) and also a three months prior notice, will be required before seeking resignation from the corporation.
Training & Probation:
The selected candidates on appointment will be on Probation for a period of two years (including period of training), where they will undergo intensive training for the prescribed duration. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. reserves the right to enhance or reduce the training period at its discretion for any or all the trainees. During the probation period, the candidates shall be required to pass various examinations. The service of the candidate during probation period can be terminated by the corporation if the performance of candidate is found to be unsatisfactory, in accordance with the terms & conditions of offer of appointment
Selection process: For the post of Station Controller/Train Operator (post code-01) and Customer Relations Assistant (post code-02), the selection methodology will comprise four-stage process – Written Test (two papers), Psycho Test & Personal Interview followed by Medical examination in Aye-one category.
For the post of Jr. Engineers (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Civil), (post codes 03, 04, 05 & 06) the Selection Methodology shall comprise three stage process – Written Test (two papers), Personal Interview followed by Medical examinations in Aye-one category not below Aye-three.
For the post of Maintainer, (post codes 07) the selection methodology will comprise two-stage process – Written Test (one paper), followed by Medical examination in Bee-One category. There will be no interview for Maintainers’ category of post.
Medical Examination: All candidates shall have to undergo the medical fitness test(s) and meet the medical standards prescribed by DMRC for various posts. Expenses for the first time medical examination of the candidate will be borne by DMRC. However, in case a candidate seeks extension for joining, then for the second time medical examination, if need so arises, the expenditure for the medical test/s will be borne by the candidate himself/herself. Candidates having undergone Lasik surgery are not suitable for all posts.
The selection process would judge different facets of knowledge, skills, comprehension, aptitude and physical fitness. Candidates will have to pass through each stage successfully (including Medical examination), before being adjudged as suitable for selection. Candidates, who fail in the prescribed medical test, will not be given any alternative employment and decision of the Corporation is final on this issue. Dates of the Written Examination, the results of written examination and all recruitment related information shall be available only on Web site.

For Post Codes 01, 02, 03, 04, 05 & 06, the written test will consist of two papers (Paper-I and Paper-II, to be held on the same day in the same centre). Paper-I will consist of Multiple Choice Objective Type Questions, bilingual (Hindi / English), on General Awareness, Logical Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and / or knowledge of the discipline / trade. There will be a total of 120 questions, each carrying equal marks. There will be negative marking. For every wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted. The Paper-I shall be of 1.5 (1½ hours) duration.
Paper-II will consist of objective type questions on General English to judge the knowledge of English language. There will be a total of 60 questions, each carrying equal marks. There will be negative marking. For every wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted. The Paper-II shall be of 45 minutes’ duration.
Candidates who qualify in Paper-I and rank high on the merit list within the zone of consideration, as decided by the DMRC, will only be evaluated for Paper-II. Successful candidates based on the Written Test (Both Paper-I & Paper-II put together) shall be called for Personal Interview/Psycho, at Delhi.
For post code 07, the Written Test will consist of Multiple Choice Objective Type Questions, bilingual (Hindi / English), on General Awareness, Reasoning and Numerical Ability, English Language and specific ITI trade / discipline carrying a total of 120 questions. There will be negative marking. For every wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted. The Paper shall be of 1.5 (1½ hours) duration. There will not be any interview for the post of Maintainers. Candidates who qualify in Written Test and rank high on merit list to the extent of vacancies, as per reservation roster, shall be called for medical examination in Bee-one standard.
