The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) shall GENERATE in the FIRST WEEK OF AUGUST 2015 the e-Admittance Cards / Hall Exam Tickets for the candidates likely to be called for appearing in the Preliminary Examination of the Civil Services Recruitment Examination, 2015.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) anticipate the Union Public Service Commission to UPLOAD by the 2nd OF AUGUST 2015 ONWARDS the e-Admission Certificates / Hall Exam Tickets for the candidates. And the candidates would be able to download and print out their respective Admit Cards for the Civil Services Prelims Examination, 2015.

The Objective Preliminary Civil Services Examination shall be followed by the Main Examination, 2015.

The Union Public Service Commission has scheduled the IAS Preliminary Examination for the 23rd of August 2015.

The IAS / IFS / IPS and various allied Posts shall entail Three Stages of Test for FINAL SELECTION strictly in order of the Merit List drawn up on the bases of majestic performance, Sufficient High Marks both in the Main Examination and Personality Test / Viva-voce / Oral Test.

Penalty for Wrong Answers:

There will be Penalty for Wrong Answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers as mentioned hereunder:

  1. There are four alternatives for the answer to every question printed on the Optical Markup Reader (OMR) Sheet. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, One-third (1/3rd) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
  2. If a candidate gives more than one answer, then it will be treated as a wrong answer, even if one of the given answers happens to be correct, yet there will be the same penalty to that question.
  3. If a question is left blank by the candidate, i.e., no answer is given by him / her, there will be no penalty for that question.

The Union Public Service Commission shall conduct the All Indian Combined Competitive Examination / Preliminary Examination of the Civil Services for recruitment of the bona fide eligible candidates for the Posts advertised hereunder:
