Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has not published either expected or projected Cut off Scores / Minimum Qualifying Marks for imparting candidates admission in the  M.Sc. (Biodiversity & Conservation), Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication, LE to B.Tech. (Diploma), LE to B.Tech. (B.Sc. Graduates), B. Tech. (Bio-Tech.), MBA, B. Tech. Programs.

Therefore, the admission in the aforementioned Programs shall be on the bases of the Marks obtained by the candidates in the CET – 2014 having been rescheduled to for May 17 and 18, 2014 respectively.

Declaration of Results First Round of Online Counseling:

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has commence declaring the results of MCA, BCA, B.Ed., MBA, BJMC, B. Tech., M.Tech., Dual Degree / B. Tech., LL.B., BBA, B.Com.(Hons) and MBBS following the conduct of the CET for these Programs.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University shall conduct THREE (03) rounds of Online Counseling for admission in the above-mentioned Programs. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University shall begin declaring the results of First round of Online Counseling w.e.f. 13.06.2014 which shall continue up to 04.07.2014.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University shall commence declaring the results of Second round of Online Counseling w.e.f. 02.07.2014 and the Process shall conclude on 18.07.2014.

Our team has taken leaflets from the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Information Brochure – 2014 – 2015 in respect of the Selection Procedure to various Post Graduate Programs MBBS / BDS / PGMC-2014 and SSMC – 2014 among other Admission Programs and have re-placed the contents as it is for their ready reference.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University on May 06, 2014 concluded the Second round of Counseling for PGMC CET Code 102 Academic Session 2014 – 2015. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University shall hold 3rd Counseling for PGMC CET 102 subsequently.

*Admission of the students passing out of GGSIPU: CPI awarded by University to be treated as equivalent to percentage.

Note:

i) If in case of tie in score, the candidate older in age will be given priority.

ii) The merit list may change subject to verification of GATE Score Card and other information from the original documents/mark sheets at the time of Counselling.

iii) If all seats are filled from GATE candidates for M.Tech. (Regular and Weekend Programme) then there will be no Counselling for NON-GATE candidates.

iv) If the seats remain vacant after admitting students with qualified GATE score, the admission for those vacant seats shall be filled on the basis of marks obtained in CET 2014 for M.Tech. (Regular and Weekend Programs).

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University declared the results for various Post Graduate Programs; viz., MBBS Stage-I (CET Code-103), MCA / MCA (SE) and M.Tech. (Nanotechnology) on the 6th of May and the 1st of May respectively.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University also declared the result of CET Code: 110 MPH (Final Examination) on May 12, 2014.

Selection Procedure:

Criteria for Qualifying CET: MBBS – 2014

Based on the result of Common Entrance Test: CET Code 103 (Stage-II) [CET: MBBS – 2014], separate merit lists will be prepared for each category. As per the Medical Council of India Guidelines, the candidates for admission must have come in the merit list prepared as a result of competitive Common Entrance Test: CET Code 103 [CET: MBBS – 2014] (Stage-II) by securing not less than 50% marks for General Category Candidates and 40% in case of SC/ST Category Candidates, subject to availability of seats for these categories in respective institutions. Accordingly, names of only those candidates who secure 50% or more marks (40% or more in case of SC / ST candidates) in the Common Entrance Test : CODE 103 [CET : MBBS-2014 (Stage-II)] will be included in the merit lists.

Criteria for Qualifying CET: BDS – 2014

Based on the result of Common Entrance Test: CET Code 104 [CET: BDS – 2014], merit list will be prepared for each category. As per the Dental/Medical Council of India Guidelines, the candidates for admission must have come in the merit list prepared as a result of competitive Common Entrance Test : CET Code 104 [CET : BDS – 2014] by securing not less than 50% marks for General category Candidates and 40% in case of SC/ST Category Candidates. Accordingly, names of only those candidates who secure 50% or more marks (40% or more in case of SC / ST candidates) in the Common Entrance Test: CET Code 104 [CET: BDS – 2014] will be included in the merit lists.

 Allotment of Seats:

All seats will be field up on the basis of the merit of MBBS as well as BDS CET-2014.

Inter-Se Merit For MBBS

In the case of a tie i.e. the candidates obtaining equal marks in the Common Entrance Test, the INTER SE merit will be decided on their performance in the Common Entrance Test: CET Code 103 (Stage-II only) by first eliminating the marks secured in the Physics portion of the CET, and if there is still a tie then by eliminating the marks secured in the Chemistry portion of the CET and if there is still a tie then by eliminating the marks secured in the biology portion of the CET. If a tie still exists, the candidate older in age will be preferred.

For BDS:

In the case of a tie i.e. the candidates obtaining equal marks in the Common Entrance Test, the INTER SE merit will be decided on their performance in the Common Entrance Test: CET Code 104 by first eliminating the marks secured in the Physics portion of the CET, and if there is still a tie then by eliminating the marks secured in the Chemistry portion of the CET and if there is still a tie then by eliminating the marks secured in the biology portion of the CET. If a tie still exists, the candidate older in age will be preferred.

Selection Procedure:

In respect of criteria for qualifying CET: PGMC 2014 separate merit list will be prepared for each category based on the result of Common Entrance Test: CET Code: 102. The admissions would be made strictly on the basis of this merit of the eligible candidates determined by marks obtained in the CET: PGMC 2014.

In case where two or more candidates obtain equal marks in CET: PGMC 2014, the inter-se merit of such candidates will be determined in order of preference as mentioned below:

The candidate, who has secured higher aggregate of marks after taking into consideration marks secured in the three professional examinations of M.B.B.S. course in the first / less number of attempts, will be given preference for admission.

If such candidates also have equal marks in M.B.B.S. course (after taking into consideration marks secured in the three professional examinations), then the candidate older / oldest in age will rank higher in merit for admission.

Selection Procedure:

In respect of criteria for qualifying CET: SSMC-2014 separate merit list will be prepared for each super specialty based on the result of respective Entrance Test. The admissions would be made strictly on the basis of this merit of the eligible candidates determined by marks obtained in the CET: SSMC-2014.

In case where two or more candidates obtain equal marks in CET: SSMC-2014, the inter-se-merit of such candidates will be determined in order of preference as mentioned below:

The candidate who has passed the qualifying examination (MD/MS/DNB) in the first/ less number of attempts will be given preference for admission.

The eligible candidates will be required to report at the University on the date and time of the Counselling in person and should mark the attendance. The allotment of seats shall be made only for those candidates who attend the Counselling sessions in person.

Under no circumstances a seat will be allotted to any candidate who fails to appear in the Counselling in person.

If the candidate in the tie of marks has passed the qualifying examination (MD/MS/DNB) in the same number of attempts, then the candidate who has got more aggregate marks (taking into consideration marks of all the three professional examinations of MBBS course together) in the first/ less number of attempts will be given preference for admission.

If the candidates have equal marks in MBBS also, after taking into consideration marks of all the three professional examinations, then the candidate older/oldest in age will be given preference for admission.
