A candidate while applying must have attained Minimum 20 Years but should not be above 30 Years of Age as on 31.03.2015.

The Gujarat Public Service Commission shall shortlist the candidates based on their performance and marks secured in the Online Screening Test Preliminary Examination. Such shortlisted candidates shall be called for the Basic Main Test.

The Gujarat Public Service Commission shall make FINAL SELECTION of the candidates strictly in order of Merit that would be drawn up based on Higher Marks both in the Basic Main Test and Interview. Hence, the candidates are advised to secure SUFFICIENT HIGH MARKS to be considered for FINAL SELECTION.
GPSC Deputy Section Officer/Mamlatdar Class III Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2015
The Gujarat Public Service Commission shall shortlist the candidates again on the basis of the Minimum Percentage of Marks / Expected Minimum Cut off Marks.
The Basic Main Test shall comprise Three Papers (Paper I, Paper II & Paper III) each carrying Maximum 100 Marks.
The Gujarat Public Service Commission shall call only those candidates for Interview, who would secure Higher Marks in the Basic Main Test.
The Gujarat Public Service Commission shall conduct the Screening (Preliminary) Test. The Gujarat Public Service Commission shall declare the Result of the Screening Test based on the Minimum Qualifying Marks likely to be determined while declaring the Screening Test / Preliminary Examination, 2015 Result.
There shall be Negative Marking in the Screening (Preliminary) Examination.
