The Government of Haryana is all set for recruiting as many as 1347 new Constables in the Pay Scale of 5200-20200 + GP of Rs. 2000.00.  According to DGP S N Vashishtha, the State Government has also constituted a Police Recruitment Board (which has been headquartered at Panchkula) to accelerate the recruitment process.

The Government, therefore, vide its Advertisement No. 01/2013 dated November 01, 2013, has invited duly filled up Application Forms from the candidates belonging to various categories in the prescribed format. The selected candidates shall be recruited as Male Constable (General Duty). The Last Date of receipt of the Application Forms by Haryana Police Recruitment Board, Panchkula is December 02, 2013.

Reservation

Domicile as per PPR 12.14 (1)

Educational Qualification

10+2 for all categories of Ex-Servicemen.

Age Limit

For all Ex-Servicemen is 40 years plus continuous Military Service added by Three Years as per the Government instructions vide letter no. 3/3/99-IGSII dated 22.09.1999.

Selection Procedure

Selection will be made in accordance with the provisions in the Punjab Police Rule 12.14. & 12.19. After due scrutiny of Application Forms, the applicants found eligible shall be informed through dispatching Call Letters by Post by the Haryana Police Recruitment Board, Panchkula, regarding the venue, date and time of the Physical Measurement.

Fee

The Ex-Service Men (ESM) candidates are exempted from Payment of Fee.  However, their dependants are required to pay Fee applicable to General, BC as the case may be.  The candidates residing outside Haryana and Chandigarh can pay Fee in the form of India Postal Order.  Fee sent in the form of Bank Draft, Money Order or in cash shall not be accepted.  Fee sent along with the Application Fee is neither refundable / adjustable.

No concession of Fee is admissible to SC / BC / PHC of other states.

*The candidates residing outside the State of Haryana are required to send original Indian Postal Order along with the Application Form after retaining the counter foil of IPO with them.  They shall have to produce original Treasury Challan / India Postal Order (Counterfoil) and all other relevant documents along with the attested Photostat of the documents at the time of the Interview.

The requisite Fee of Rs. 100/- should be deposited in the Haryana Government Treasury under “Head 0051 Public Service Commission-51 NA-104-Other Receipts-99 Fee from Applications to Haryana Police Recruitment Board.

Mode of Applying

One candidate would submit one handwritten application for a particular category of Post. The Application Forms complete in all respect duly filled in by the candidates in their handwriting in capital letters and signed in ink should be sent only through Registered Post Haryana Police Recruitment Board, Bays No. 31-32, Sector – 4 Panchkula-134 112, Haryana.  The candidates are required to enclose a self-addressed envelope with Rs. 5/- Postage Stamp affixed thereon along with the Application Form.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

There will be four events in the PET, i.e., Race of 100 Meters and 800 Meters respectively.  Long Jump and High Jump also form part of PET.

The candidates found eligible on the basis of Physical Measurement shall undergo Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which will carry 20 Marks.

The candidates securing 15 marks in PET shall be put through an Interview. The eligible NCC cadets having ‘A’, ‘B’ & ‘C’ certificates would be given a weight age of T ‘2’ & ‘3’ respectively subject to the Maximum 15 marks obtained in the Interview.
