IB Junior Intellengce Officer Application form 2014 last date 2nd June :-

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has released its official Notification to invite Online applications are invited from bona fide Indian nationals for direct recruitment to the post(s) of Personal Assistant, General Central Service, Group-B (Non- Gazetted / Ministerial) and Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Technical, General Central Service, Group ‘C’ (Non-Gazetted/Non-Ministerial) in Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. The candidates, before applying to the post(s) advertised by Ministry of Home Affairs, are advised to visit the MHA official Notification, and ensure that they fulfill the conditions of eligibility.

The candidates must ensure before applying for the post(s) that he/she is eligible for the post(s) in terms of age, educational/technical qualification etc. as laid down in the advertisement.

The Online submission of the Application Forms by the eligible candidates commenced from May 03, 2014.  The last date for receipt of the Application Forms from the candidates is June 02, 2014.

Downloading the IB Junior Intellengce Officer e-Admit Cards / Hall Tickets 2014:

The Ministry of Home Affairs has not notified the date for generating the e-Admit Cards / Hall Examination Tickets for the said Posts.  We would bring quicker update on this in concurrence with the Ministry of Home Affairs announcement / notice.

Date of Examination of IB Junior Intellengce Officer:

The Ministry of Home Affairs has not informed any formal Date.  We are keeping tabs on the MHA announcement in this respect and shall display on our web portal  in conjunction with the Ministry of Home Affairs official information in this respect. The candidates, therefore, are advised to bookmark our website and stay in touch with us for getting swift update.

Scheme of Examination:

There shall be two stages of Tests, viz., Written Examination common for both posts Stenographic skill test for the post of PA and. The Written Examination shall remain common for both posts JIO-II (Tech) and PA & Stenographic skill test for the post of PA and Skill test in the relevant field of trade followed by interview for JIO-II (Tech).

The Written Test shall be an Objective Type Test containing Multiple Choice Questions from General Awareness, G.K, English, Reasoning, Mathematical aptitude, etc. The Objective Type Test Carrying a Maximum of 100 Marks shall be of 1 Hour & 30 Minutes’ duration (90 Minutes).

Those candidates who acquire a specific standard in the written test will be called for skill test in stenography for the post of Personal Assistant and Skill test in the relevant field of trade followed by interview for the post of JIO-II/Tech. The date, place and time of skill test and interview shall be intimated to the candidates online.

Result Declaration:

The Ministry of Home Affairs has not published any date for declaring the results of the Written Examination.  We would display on our website  the Ministry of Home Affairs update in respect of the Written Test Result.  

Interview Schedule:

We would also bring MHA announced date for Stenographic skill test for the post of PA and Skill test in the relevant field of trade followed by interview for JIO-II (Tech).

Selection of candidates:

Based on the performance of the candidates in written test, stenographic test/skill test cum interview, they will be selected subject to successful completion of their character and antecedent verification and thereafter medical examination.

How to Apply:

Applications should be submitted online only, by logging on to the website www.mha.nic.in.

Examination Fee:

Rs. 50/- (Rupees Fifty Only) for General & OBC candidates (Male). SC & ST Woman candidates are exempted from payment of fee.

The candidates are strongly advised to keep ready the following documents in original along with their attested copies soon after the declaration of the result of written examination:

a) Matric / Higher Secondary School certificate or equivalent and ITI Certificate showing name and date of birth,

b) Degree/Provisional degree certificate/mark sheet showing clearly having passed degree examination and eligible for award of degree,

c) OBC certificate, if applicable, from competent authority in prescribed Proforma, as explained in Para 8 (xiii) stated in the Notification,

d) SC/ST certificate, if applicable, from competent authority.

e) NOC from the present employer, if applicable, and

f) Any other document/testimonial as deemed necessary by the candidate.

Applicants are advised to continue checking their email and the website of MHA from time to time and particularly 2-3 days before the date of written examination for updates.

Examination Centers: The Ministry of Home Affairs shall conduct Written Examination at various Examination Centers in various parts of the country:

Agartala, Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Amritsar, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Kohima, Kolkata, Leh, Lucknow, Meerut, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Shimla, Siliguri, Trivandrum, Varanasi and Vijayawada.

Age Limit for JIO-II/Tech:

18-27 years as on the closing date i.e. June 02, 2014 for registration of applications.

The upper age limit is relaxable by five years for SC/ST and three years for OBC candidates.

The upper age limit is also relaxable up to 40 years of age for such Departmental candidates who have rendered minimum three years of regular & continuous service.

The age limit is also relaxable up to age of 35 years for General candidates and up to 40 years for SC/ST in case of widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands who are not remarried.

The age limit is also relaxable for ex-servicemen as well as for candidates who were domiciled in J&K during 1.1.1980 to 31.12.1989 and children & dependents of victims of communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat as per Government instructions in this regard issued from time to time.

Age Limit for PA: 18 – 27 years as on the closing date i.e. June 02, 2014 for registration of applications.
