The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (Ministry of Home Affairs), Government of India is to announce very shortly the Result of the Objective Test scheduled for May 10, 2015.

The Ministry of Home Affairs, Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force shall conduct the Objective Test for filling 76 vacancies under General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted (Non-Ministerial)  in India and overseas on TEMPORARY BASIS that are likely to be made PERMANENT as and the Ministry of Home Affairs issues it Gazette / Official Order in this regard.

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force is to announce by June-end or by mid of July 2015 the Result of the General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted (Non-Ministerial) Post / Recruitment.

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force shall declare the Result of the Online Written Examination ON THE BASIS OF THE CATEGORY WISE Minimum Percentage of Marks (MPMs). The Category wise Minimum Qualifying Marks fixed by the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force for the Candidates is 35% for General (UR) and Ex-Servicemen AND 33% for SC / ST / OBC (NCL) Candidates.

Selection Procedure:

Phase Details
I Height Bar, Race (PET) / Physical Standards Test (PST) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT).
II Online Written Test / Objective Written Test
III Verification of original documents and Detailed Medical Examination.

Selection Criteria:

  • FINAL MERIT LIST (FML)
  • FINAL SELECT LIST (FSL).

Merit List:

FINAL SELECTION of the Candidates Category wise shall be on the basis of the Candidates’ Performance in the Written Test.  The Ministry of Home Affairs would prepare COMMON MERIT LIST based on the Marks secured by the candidates in the Objective Test.

Cut Off Marks:

Following completion of Phase II (Written Test), the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force shall prepare Cut Off  List of the Candidates Category wise [General / Other Backward Classes (NCL) / Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-Servicemen based on the Total Marks obtained in the Objective Written Test (OWT).

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force shall shortlist the candidates based on their performance; the Ministry of Home Affairs shall call such SHORTLISTED Candidates for carrying out Verification of Original Documents / Certificates and Detailed Medical Examination (DME) as per Category wise Vacancy and the Merit of the candidates.

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force shall also prepare an Extended List to cover the shortfall due to the failure of the Candidates in the Detailed Medical Examination and Review Medical Examination (RME).  The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force would not prepare any Reserve List to complete Recruitment.

Resolution of the TIE Cases:

In case of TIE persisting due to Equal Marks by two Candidates, then the Candidate older in Age shall be given due Preference.
