The Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the Joint Entrance Examination (Main)-2015 Cut Off Analysis for the Paper-1 & Paper-2.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has determined the following Criteria for the candidates desiring to seek admission into NITs, IIITs, CSAB, and other Institutions participating though Central Seat Allocation Board.

The admission of the candidates shall be based on the All India Ranks & Cut Off Marks Analysis along with the Criteria of subject combinations mentioned in the table hereunder-

The Subjects combinations required in the Qualifying Examination for admission to B. E. /B. Tech. & B. Arch. / B.Planning Courses in NITs, IIITs, and other CFTIs shall be as under.

Course

Required Criteria based on 12th Class / Equivalent Qualifying Examination

B.E. / B.Tech. 1) Language, 2) Physics, 3) Mathematics, 4) Any one of (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject), 5) Any other Subject.

With, at least, 45% (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category i.e., SC / ST) marks in above subjects taken together.  B.Arch. / B. PlanningMathematics subject along with 50% Marks in total including five subjects.

However, the students belonging to General and Reserved (SC / ST / OBC Category) must ensure that they secure SUFFICIENT HIGHER MARKs in Paper I & Paper 2 to be considered for admission into B.E. / B.Tech / B.Arch. / B.Planning Programs at the NITs, IIITs, CSAB, and other Institutions participating though Central Seat Allocation Board affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education.

JEE Main 2015 Seat Allocation Process & Admission Procedure

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), candidates declared successful on All India Ranks (AIRs) in the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2015 shall be offered admission in the opted Course through a Seat Allocation Process.

The Candidates whose exam score is above or equal to this score will be included in the final merit list and qualify the exam and rest will be disqualified. As per the announcements done earlier, the JEE Main 2015 Cut off will also decide the candidates who will be allowed to take JEE Advanced Exam 2015.
