Maharashtra PHD Medical Officer Admit Card for 1881 Posts :-

The Government of Maharashtra, Public Health Department, Independent Selection for Recruitment of Medical Officer, Group A Admit Card has been released on its official website.

The recruitment is open for Women, Sportsperson and Physically Challenged applicants. Online Submission of Applications and Registration has already commenced w.e.f. October 10, 2013 and would close on October 25.10.2013.

There are 1881 numbers of vacancies available for the eligible candidates.  Out of 1881 posts, the candidates having Post Graduate Diploma or Degree in any of the opted specialty are eligible to submit their individual candidature as notified Maharashtra PHD Medical Officer Application Form for 1881 Vacanciesby the Government Resolution, Public Health Department, No MVA-2011/CR 745/11/Seva-3 dated 03.10.2013:

Eligibility Criteria

Age (As on 01.10. 2013)

Not more than 35 years for General candidates.  Relaxable as per the rules in the case of backward class candidates, a maximum of 5 years in regard to those already in the Government Medical employment Permanent / Ad hoc / Bonded bases. And maximum up to 10-years relaxable in case of the candidates having exceptional or super specialty Qualification in the faculties specified in the Government Resolution, Public Health Department, No.MVA-2011//CR No745/11/ Seva-3, dated 03.10.2013.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates applying for the opted post must possess

For Medical Officer (MBBS post): The MBBS Degree of a statutory University or any other qualification as specified in the First or Second Schedule appended to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956);

For Medical Officer (Specialty Posts): The Post Graduate Diploma or Degree of a Statutory University in Pediatrics or General Surgery or General Medicine or Gynecology or Anesthesia or Psychiatry or Ophthalmology or Orthopedics or E.N.T. or Radiology or Pathology or Chest & TB physician or Dermatology or Degree for Blood Transfusion or in any other Specialty as specified in the First or Second Schedule appended to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956);

The candidates should have completed their internship on or before 01.10.2013.

Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of two years.

There are prospects of promotion to the post of Maharashtra Medical & Health Services Group-A (Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay 6600) provided candidate fulfills the requirement laid down for the post.
