Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has released its official Notification (vide its Advertisement No. 02/Examination/2013 dated 23.09.2013) to invite, through its official Website, Online registration from the eligible candidates belonging to Madhya Pradesh for recruitment of Ayurvedic Medical Officers. The last date for Online Registration is October 26, 2013, 12:00 midnight.

There are in all 722 (632+90 including Backlog) vacancies available for recruiting the candidates as Madhya Pradesh Ayurved Medical Officer (MPAMO). The candidates declared successful in M. P. Public Service Commission Examination – 2014 would be appointed as Ayurved Medical Officer in Ayush Department, Madhya Pradesh Government.
Several Thousands of candidates from Madhya Pradesh State are likely to submit their respective applications on line through the official website of M.P. Public Service Commission.
A candidate applying to the Post of M. P. Public Service Commission must be
- C.C.I.M. in Ayurved from a recognized university;
- registered with Ayurvedic / Unani Board;
- A candidate appearing in the Final Year of CCIM is also eligible to apply. But the candidate will be required to present / submit Provisional Certification (along with Internship Certificate).
A candidate applying to the post of Ayurved Medical Officer must have obtained a minimum age of 22 years as on 01.01.2014 but not above 40 years.

Post Online Registration received from the eligible candidates, Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission would conduct A Written Examination on 16.03.2014. The M.P. PSC Ayurved Medical Officer Written Examination shall be organized at all Examination Centers located in Indore.
Duration of Examination:
MPPSC Ayured Medical Officer Examination-2014 shall have 2 hours allocated for competing in the Examination.
Scheme of Examination:
Madyha Pradesh PSC Ayurved Medical Officer Examination-2014 would comprise two Sections, i.e., Written Examination and Interview.
There shall be 120 (Multiple Choice Questions) questions in the Examination. All the questions having been assigned 360 marks. Each correct Answer shall carry 3 marks.
Every Question requiring to be answered shall have A, B, C, D options. A correct answer will have to be answered with darkening the circle in Blank Ballpoint Pen ink.
In order to qualify MPPSC Ayurved Medical Officer Examination-2014, a General candidate shall be required to obtain compulsory 40% marks. The candidates belonging to Madhya Pradesh and others falling in the categories of OBC, SC, ST will have to obtain 30% (with 10% relaxation). Similarly, the Physically Challenged candidates shall also be required to secure 30% marks (10% relaxation).
A Personal Interview carrying 40 marks post Written Examination shall be held. Though, there are Minimum Qualifying marks have been prescribed yet the candidates who would perform on merit shall be called for Interview. However the candidates who would have scored higher marks in both Written Examination and Interview shall be declared successful by Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission.
