NMAT 2015 Notification, Exam Date, Eligibility, Syllabus :-  Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) through their Admission Notification – 2014, has invited Online Applications from the candidates for admission in different Post Graduate Programs; i.e., MBA (Full Time at Mumbai Campus) and PGDM (Full Time at Bengaluru Campus) and PGDBM (Full Time at Hyderabad Campus). 

NMAT Notification 2015

The Online Registration for admission in the aforementioned Post Graduate Courses commenced from July 02, 2014. 

The Last Date for receipt of Application Form from the candidates at Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies is 24.09.2014.   

We have attached the highest priority to the NMIMS’s NMAT – 2015 and would bring other important updates including the date for generating of the NMAT e-Admit Cards / Hall Examination Tickets in concurrence with Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies Notice.NMAT 2015 Notification,Application Form,Exam Date,Eligibility,Syllabus

We would also put up for display on our website the Set wise fully Answer Key in A, B, C & D series of the NMAT – 2015.  The candidates would also be able to get other important update through our website including Community wise Cut-off Marks together with the First / Final Merit List that would be decided on the bases of the candidates’ performance and Marks obtained in Objective Type- Multiple Choice Questions and Case Discussion / Personal Interview.

NMAT – 2015 Examination:

NMIMS Management Aptitude Test – 2015 shall commence from the 7th of October 2014. NMAT – 2015 shall conclude the 20th of December 2014.

The NMAT Retake Scheduling – 2015 would begin on the 7th of October 2014.  The NMAT – 2015 shall end on the 19th of December 2014. 

NMAT™ Result – 2015:

NMIMS Management Aptitude Test Result – 2015 shall be announced on the 22nd of January 2015. 

NMAT – 2015 CD / PI Schedule:

The candidates declared successful in the NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT) – 2015, shall have to register them for Case Discussion / Personal Interview (CD / PI) during 23.01.2015 – 03.02.2015.  Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies shall start off CD / Personal Interview effective the 11th of February 2015 and bring to an end the CD / PI on 24.02.2015.

NMAT – 2015 First Merit List:

Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies shall release the First Merit List on the 4th of March, 2015.

NMAT – 2015: Syllabus / Test Structure:

NMIMS Management Aptitude Test – 2015 would consist of THREE (03) Sections, i.e., Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning comprising 120 Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions and would be of TWO (02) Hours or 120 Minutes duration as follows:

If the candidate were not satisfied by his / her NMAT – 2015 Score in the first attempt, then he / she may schedule for Re-take NMAT™ by visiting www.pearsonvue.com / NMIMS http://nmat.org.in/  and log into with the allotted Username and Password. In case of candidates taking more than one attempt the best score which would be the Total Score & its respective Sectional Score, which would make the candidate eligible as per the cut-offs declared by NMIMS, will be considered for shortlisting for subsequent process. (Cut-off means sectional as well as total score). The scores of all the attempts taken by the candidate will be declared on the NMIMS website.

Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies shall hold Case Discussion & Personal Interview of shortlisted candidates in Mumbai only. For CD / PI the candidates have to carry their NMAT™ Admit Card. 

NMATTM 2015 Examination Centers:

Admission Process:

The Admission in NMAT – 2015 shall comprise THREE (03) stages, as follows:

Stage 1 – NMAT™ will be conducted as per the Admission Schedule.

Stage 2 – Case Discussion (CD) and Personal Interview (PI) only for shortlisted candidates.

Stage 3 – Candidates’ academic performance, relevant work experience and other similar inputs.

Full Time Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3/4) in Pharmacy, Science, Life Sciences, MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Biotechnology from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt. Post Graduate degree holders in Economics, Psychology and Sociology can also apply.The candidates with B.Tech. or B.E. in Bio-Tech. or Bio- Medical are also eligible to apply.Those candidates who have cleared their graduation by doing a part-time course or through distance learning, correspondence courses, externally, open school are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.The candidates working in Pharmaceutical Companies for more than two years are preferred.

For all the Full Time Programs, the candidates who are appearing for the final examination of their Bachelor’s Degree are eligible to apply. Provisional admission is subject to clearing the final examination of their Bachelor’s Degree in first attempt and in the stipulated duration with 50% aggregate marks and selected candidates must produce all the necessary documents, in original, within the given stipulated time and must fulfill the underlined sub clause.

For all the Full Time programs, candidates having two and more years of post-qualification work experience will be preferred.

At the time of admission, the candidate should have cleared all the trimesters / semesters of the Program. No examination of any previous Semester / Trimester to the final Semester / Trimester examination will be held subsequent to the final Semester/ Trimester examination. No result of any previous Semester / Trimester examination to the final Semester / Trimester examination would be declared subsequent to the declaration of the result of the final Semester / Trimester examination. 

The candidate has to produce semester-wise / trimester-wise mark sheets of all years at the time of admission.  Only consolidated mark sheets will not be entertained.

The candidates, who have passed from a University, or, have appeared at the University for Graduation Examination from a University where Grade Point Average is given, must produce in writing from the University concerned, about the equivalent percentage for the GPA/CGPA obtained.

It is the sole responsibility of the candidates to ascertain whether they possess the necessary and requisite qualification for the admission at NMIMS, as verification of the documents is done at the time of final admission.

If at any stage, it is found that a candidate does not satisfy the eligibility criteria or the information furnished by him / her in the online registration is incorrect, his / her application for the admission to the Programme, even if selected and fees paid, will stand cancelled and fees forfeited. Candidates appearing for NMAT™, Case Discussion & Personal Interview will do so at their own risk, eventually, forfeiting their admission for want of meeting the eligibility criteria. In such cases candidate will forfeit all the payments like NMAT™ Registration Charges, Case Discussion – Personal Interview Registration Charges, Program fee etc.

NMIMS reserves the right to alter the terms of eligibility without intimation to the applicants.
