Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test  Answer Key 2013 PSTET Cut off 2013:

The State Council of Educational Research & Training, Punjab conducted a Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test-2013 on December 28, 2013. Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test-2013 was organized in various parts of Punjab. 

Several thousands of candidates appeared in the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test – 2013.

PSET Answer Key 2013

Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test – 2013 was held in two sessions. Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test – II was held in the Morning and Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test-I was organized in the evening.   

PSTET-2013 Answer Keys & Cut off Marks:

The Punjab State Council of Educational Research & Training has not published the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test-2013 related Answer Keys. Structure of Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test-2013:

As a rule, the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test-2013 is Multiple Choice Questions based, each carrying one mark, with four alternatives out of which one correct answer needs to be submitted. There is no negative marking against a wrong answer submitted by the candidate.

The Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test – 2013 Examination Structure

The Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test consisted of 2 papers.  Paper I is for those PSTET-2013 participants who intend to teach Class I to Class V. Paper II is for those PSTET-2013 participants, who would like to teach VI – VIII classes. However, a person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).

PSTET – I consisted of 150 Multiple Choice Questions, each correct answer carrying 1 mark was of 2 Hours and 30 minutes. The paper was based on the following subjects:

Qualifying Marks:

A person who scores 60% or more in the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test – 2013 will be considered as PSTET Pass.

  • Punjab Govt., as decided to give concession of 5% in PSTET to the persons belonging to SC / ST, OBC, differently abled persons, etc., in accordance with their extant reservation policy;
  • This weight age to the PSTET scores in the recruitment process; however, qualifying the PSTET-2013, would not confer a right on any person for recruitment / employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.

Applicability: 

The PSTET shall apply to the Schools owned and managed by the Punjab State Government / Local Bodies and aided school.

PSTET may also apply to the unaided private schools who may exercise the option of considering the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test.

Validity Period of PSTET Certificate:

The Validity Period of PSTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be seven years from the date of declaration of its result for all categories.

There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a PSTET Certificate. A person who has qualified PSTET may also appear again for improving his / her score.

Evaluation of Answer Sheet:

The machine – gradable Answer Sheets are evaluated with extreme care and are repeatedly scrutinized. No request for re-checking, re-assessment, re-evaluation or scrutiny of OMR Answer Sheets will be entertained. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
