Punjab State TET Admit Card 2014 PSTET Hall Ticket Download:

State Council of Educational Research & Training (SCERT), Punjab, shall generate on July 30, 2014, in its Website the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) e-Admit Cards / Hall Exam Tickets for the candidates for holding PSTET – I (Morning) & PSTET – II (Evening).  Hence, the candidates desiring to appear in the PSTET – 2014 may be able to download their respective e-Admit Cards / Hall Tickets through State Council of Educational Research & Training, Punjab Website.

State Council of Educational Research & Training, Punjab shall, on the 10th of August 2014, conduct Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test, 2014.

Structure of PSTET – 2014:

The PSTET – 2014 shall consist of 150 Multiple Choice Questions, each carrying one mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct. There will be no negative marking.

Time Duration of PSTET – 2014:

PSTET – 2014 consisting of Paper I & Paper II) shall be of 1½ hours duration.

There will be two papers of PSTET.

 (i) Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for Classes I to V.

(ii) Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for Classes VI to VIII.

A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).

Qualifying Marks:

A person who scores 60% or more in the PSTET exam will be considered as PSTET pass.

Punjab Government has decided to give concession of 5% in PSTET to the persons belonging to SC / ST, OBC, differently abled persons, etc., in accordance with their extant reservation policy;

This weight age to the PSTET scores in the recruitment process; however, qualifying the PSTET would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.

Applicability:
The PSTET shall apply to the Schools owned and managed by the Punjab State Government/Local Bodies and aided school.

PSTET may also apply to the unaided private schools who may exercise the option of considering the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test.

Validity Period of PSTET Certificate:

The Validity Period of PSTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be seven years from the date of declaration of its result for all categories.

There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person could take for acquiring a PSTET Certificate. A person who has qualified Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test may also re-appear for improving his / her score.
