RBI Assistants Recurrent 2014 apply form for 506 vacancies:

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has issued its Notification to invite from the eligible Indian nationals Online Application Forms for recruitment of the candidates in the post of “Assistant” .  There are 506 posts.

Online Registration for the Post shall commence w.e.f. July 16. 2014. The Last Date for acknowledgment at Reserve Bank of India is August 08, 2014,

The Reserve Bank of India shall administer an All India Online Assistant Examination for the candidates all over country.

Application Form:

Before applying, the candidates need to ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria for the post. The candidates have to apply online through Bank’s website only.

Eligibility Criteria :

(a) Age (as on 01-07-2014):

Between 18 and 28 years.

The candidate applying must have been born neither earlier than 02.07.1986 nor later than 01/07/1996 (both days including) are only eligible to apply.

Relaxation in the Upper Age Limit:

Upper Age Limit in case of the candidates belonging to different categories is available in the RBI’s official website.

Educational Qualifications as on 06.08.2014:

(i) At least, a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (Pass Class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC.

(ii) A candidate belonging to Ex-servicemen category should either be a Graduate from a recognized University or should have passed the Matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and rendered at least 15 years of defense service.

(iii) The candidates applying for post in a particular state should be proficient in the language of the state, i.e., know to read, write, speak and understand the language.

Scheme of Selection & Structure of Online Test:

Final selection will be on the basis of candidate’s performance in the written examination and interview taken together in order of merit.

The selection for the post will be through a country-wide competitive Online Examination and Interview.

The Online Examination comprising 05 Test Papers will consist of 200 Multiple Choice Questions shall carry  a total of 200 marks.  The Online Test shall be of TWO (02) Hours.  The Online Test is tentatively scheduled to be held in the fourth week of September 2014.

All Tests / Papers except for Test No. 02 (Test of English language) shall be in bilingual media; i.e., English and Hindi.

A candidate has to qualify in each part of the Objective test separately.

There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. ¼th  marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The candidates are required to pass in each of the objective tests.

Other detailed information regarding the examination will be given in an Information Handout, which will be made available for the candidates to download along with the call letter for examination from the RBI’s website.

The Reserve Bank of India shall exhibit on its website the Roll Nos. of the candidates declared successful on merit in the Online Examination, which shall be followed by a brief notice thereof that  will be published in the leading newspapers in October 2014.

The Reserve Bank of India has not formally intimated the Community wise Minimum Cut-off Marks / Minimum Qualifying Marks for General / OBC / SC / ST / PwD and Ex-Servicemen candidates.  We would inform through our website the Category wise Minimum Qualifying Marks, which might be decided by the Reserve Bank of India at the time of declaring the Online RBI Assistant Examination result, 2014.

RBI Assistant Examination Centers:

The Reserve Bank of India shall conduct Online the RBI Assistant Examination, 2014 in all States and Union Territories of India.

We would also intimate the candidates through our web portal www.OnlineExamResult.in the exact date of Online Test once Reserve Bank of India sets the date of Online Examination.    

RBI: Assistant Interview Schedule:

The Reserve Bank of India has not notified the Interview dates for the post of Assistant.  However, our www.OnlineExamResult.in team is keeping tabs on the RBI Notice / Notification in this respect. We would bring quicker update in conjunction with the RBI Notification and display on www.OnlineExamResult.in for the candidates.

The RBI shall call only those candidates for interview who would stand sufficiently high in merit on the aggregate marks of the Objective Tests.  The RBI shall decide a Merit List in relation to the number of vacancies to be filled in.

Final selection will be on the basis of candidate’s performance in the written examination and interview taken together in order of merit.

We would also display on our website the RBI Assistant Examination Answer Key in A, B, C & D series or scanned image of OMR Answer Sheet.

How to Apply?

The candidates can apply online only from 16.7.14 to 06.08.2014 and no other mode of application will be accepted.

Procedure for applying online:

The candidates are first required to go to RBI website www.rbi.org.in and click on the Home Page to open the link “Recruitment for the post of Assistant” and then click on the option “ Recruitment for the post of Assistant” to open the On-Line Application Form.

Mode of Payment:

The candidates exercise either option to make the payment of requisite fee / intimation charges; either through the ONLINE mode or the OFFLINE mode.
