The State Bank of India (SBI) is expected to generate the SBI PO e-Admit Cards / Hall Tickets for the candidates w.e.f. May 30, 2014.

So, the candidates may begin downloading their respective State Bank of India PO Call Letters / Hall Tickets and an “Acquaint Yourself “ Booklet by entering their Registration Number and Password / Date of Birth, from 30.05.2014 from the SBI’s Website.
SBI PO Written Examination – 2014:
The State Bank of India shall tentatively conduct an All India Combined Recruitment Examination in June 2014 in all Union Territories and the States of India. Though the State Bank of India has not formally announced the date for conducting the Recruitment Examination for the candidates, our team is keeping a close watch on the SBI announcement regarding the anticipated date for holding Written Test for recruitment of the Probationary Officers.
We would display on our web portal www.OnlineExamResult.in all important updates in concurrence with the Central Recruitment & Promotion Department announcements in the times to come ahead.
We would continue to bring all important updates for the candidates through our website. The forthcoming updates in respect of the SBI PO recruitment shall include the exact date for conducting of Written Examination by Central Recruitment & Promotion Department. Apart from the Written Examination Date, we would display on our website the SBI PO Written Test Results. We would also publish on our website other important information including category wise Minimum Qualifying Marks / Cut-off Marks (to be decided by Central Recruitment & Promotion Department, State Bank of India subsequently).
Since the State Bank of India shall shortlist the candidates on Merit based on their performance in the Written Examination, we would display on our website the information including the Final Merit List, top Merit List ranked candidates to be prepared by the Central Recruitment & Promotion Department.
The candidates shall also be able to download the SBI PO fully solved Answer Keys in A, B, C & D series in PDF format / scanned image of OMR Response Sheet through our website www.OnlineExamResult.in.
The other information in conjunction with the SBI announcement to be put up for display for the students on our web portal shall include the exact dates for Personal Interview / Group Discussion as well the Final Selection updates.
The State Bank of India PO Written Test shall consist of the Objective Type Test and Descriptive Type Test:
Phase-I Examination consisting of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks.
Central Recruitment & Promotion Department shall conduct the Objective Test in Online Mode. Online Objective Test shall be followed by a Descriptive Type Test administered. The candidates will have to answer Descriptive Test on paper / Pen Mode.
(i) The Objective Test with 2-hours’ duration shall consist of 4 Sections with 50 Objective Test marks each (Total 200 marks) as follows:
a) Test of English Language (Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc.)
b) Test of General Awareness, Marketing & Computers
c) Test of Data Analysis & Interpretation
d) Test of Reasoning (High Level)
The candidates are required to qualify in each of the Tests by securing passing marks, to be decided by the Bank.
(ii) The Descriptive Test with 1-hour duration (50 Marks) will be of “Test Descriptive Test: of English Language (Comprehension, Short précis, Letter writing & Essay)”.
The candidates are required to qualify in the Descriptive Test by securing passing marks, to be decided by the Bank.
Descriptive Test paper of only those candidates will be evaluated who have scored qualifying marks in the Objective Tests and are placed adequately high as per total marks in objective test.
(b) Phase-II Group Discussion (20 marks) & Interview (30 marks)
The aggregate marks of candidates qualifying in both the Objective Tests and Descriptive Test will be arranged in descending order in each category. Adequate number of candidates in each category, as decided by the Bank, will be called for Group Discussion and Interview. The qualifying marks in Group Discussion & Interview will be as decided by the Bank.
The candidates qualified for GD & Interview under ‘OBC’ category are required to submit OBC certificate containing the ‘Non Creamy layer’ clause. Candidates not submitting the OBC certificate containing the ‘Non Creamy Layer’ clause and requesting to be interviewed under General category will not be entertained.
The candidates will have to qualify both in Phase-I and Phase-II separately.
The marks secured by the candidates in the Written Test (out of 250 marks) shall be converted to out of 75 and marks secured in Group Discussion & Interview (out of 50 marks) are converted to out of 25.
The Final Merit List shall be arrived at after aggregating converted marks of Written Test and Group Discussion & Interview out of 100 for each category.
The selection will be made from the top merit ranked candidates in each category.
The results of the candidates, who have qualified for Phase II and the list of candidates finally selected will be made available on the Bank’s website.
The Central Recruitment & Promotion Department, the State Bank of India, shall publish the Final Select List in Employment News / Rozgar Samachar.
The examination will be held in the month of June 2014 (Tentatively).
