SSC CHSL 10+2 Notification 2015 LDC DEO Online Form 2015:

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is all set to issue by June-end 2015, an Advertisement to invite Online Application Forms from the Indian citizens for recruitment through Combined Higher Secondary Level – 2015.

The Staff Selection Commission shall conduct Online Test consisting of 200 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions (OTMCQs) the Post of Lower Division Clerk (LDC) / Data Entry Operator (DEO)

Age Limit :

A candidate must be 18 – 27 Years

The Staff Selection Commission shall publish detailed Category wise Relaxation in Upper Age Limit for the Reserved Categories in its Advertisement.

Educational Qualifications: (As on the Cut-off Date)

Must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

Criteria for preparing Merit List for CHSL Examination – 2015:

The Staff Selection Commission would conduct the Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination comprising Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions only. The Multiple Choice Questions shall be set both in English & Hindi for Written Part – I, III & IV.

There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Each wrong answer submitted by the candidate shall attract a deduction of ¼th Marks.

Application Fee:

Rs. 100/- (Mode of Payment “CRF Stamp”).

The Application Fee shall be exempted for all Female Candidates and the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation, as per Government orders.

Note-I: The Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Exam, 2015 will comprise the Objective Type-Multiple Choice Questions (OTMCQs) only as hereinabove. The Questions will be set both in English & Hindi Languages for Part-I, III & IV.

Note-II: There will be Negative Marking of 0.25 Marks (or ¼th) of the Total Marks for each wrong Answer given by the Candidates.

Note-III The Staff Selection Commission shall place the Test Booklet Set wise Answers Keys in A, B, C, D series in Portable Document Format (PDF) File on the Commission’s Website upon conclusion of the Written Examination.

The Staff Selection Commission shall declare the Results of the Written Examination taken by the Candidates obtained by them in all Sections of Papers; however, which means a Candidate would have to secure the Minimum Qualifying Marks (as determined by the Commission) in the Online Written Test. However, the Staff Selection Commission shall prepare an All India Merit List (AIML) of the Candidates based on their performance and Sufficient High Marks both in the Objective Test and Interview / Skill Test taken together for FINAL SELECTION of the Candidates.

Mode of Selection:

The Staff Selection Commission would shortlist the candidates on the basis of their respective performance in the Written Examination before calling them for the Skill Test.

Among the candidates who qualify in the skill test, the Staff Selection Commission would recommend their appointments based on their performance in the Written Examination. The Staff Selection Commission would carry out the selection of the candidates depending on their merit positions and the options for various posts, Departments for which option they will exercise the option.

The Staff Selection Commission further sets the following criteria for final Selection of the candidates:

The “Data Entry Speed” Skill Test would be of qualifying nature. Candidates allowed to take this test, will have to qualify the test at the prescribed speed on Computer, to be provided by the Commission or the agency authorized by the Commission to conduct such skill test at the Centre/venue so notified.

Only those candidates, who qualify in the written part of examination and secure at least minimum qualifying marks as may be fixed by the Commission in their discretion, will be eligible to take the Skill Test.

Only such candidates who qualify in the Skill Test at a speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour will be eligible for being recommended for appointment as per their position in the Merit List.

None of the candidates including PH candidates who qualify in the written part of the examination will be exempted from the Skill Test as passing of the skill test is a precondition and one of the essential qualifications for appointment to the post of Data Entry Operator.

The candidates shall be required to report to the Staff Selection Commission in case of misrepresentation regarding the Answers Key and the representation of the Answers Key received within 7 days of uploading of the Answers Key will be scrutinized and the decision of the Commission in this regard will be final.

Note-IV: The Staff Selection Commission reserves the right to introduce additional stage of the examination, if any, which would be notified by the Commission at a suitable time, if considered necessary.
