SSC Multi Tasking Staff Exam Admit Card 2014 MTS Non Technical Hall Ticket:

In compliance with the Staff Selection Commission Notification No. F.No.3/11/2013-P&P-I dated 16.11.2013 as advertised by the Commission, the Staff Selection Commission is set to conduct a Common Examination for all applicants for the posts in different States / Union Territories on 16.02.2014 & 23.02.2014 and if required on subsequent dates. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the examination will be required to appear for a descriptive type qualifying paper for testing basic language skills.

The candidates declared successful in the Written Test would be recruited by the Regional Offices of the Staff Selection Commission to the posts of Multi Tasking Staff, a General Central Service Group – C‘ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in various Central Government Ministries / Departments / Offices, in different States / Union Territories.

Downloading of SSC MTS Exam 2014 e-Admit Card:

The Staff Selection Commission has not activated the Link for downloading of the Hall Examination Tickets. We, at www.OnlineExamResult.in would bring quicker information in respect of downloading of Hall Call Ticket as and when informed by the Regional Offices of Staff Selection Commission. The candidates would be able to download their respective SSC Admission Certificates through the concerned Regional / Sub Regional Office website.  The Regional Offices of the Staff Selection Commission shall activate the Link for the candidates to download the Hall Examination Ticket, at least, one week before the Common Written Examination. Candidates who apply on-line but are unable to download their Admission Certificates or do not receive their Admission Certificates at least one week before the date of the examination should contact the concerned Regional Office with details such as Registration ID, Transaction ID of SBI, copy of Challan, etc. for obtaining the Admission Certificates. Details of deficiency in online applications, if any, will also be placed on the Commission‘s website (http://ssc.nic.in) about two weeks before the examination.

SSC MTS 2014 Syllabus & Scheme of Examination:

The Staff Selection Commission MTS Examination 2014 shall be Objective Type Questions based. The Examination will consist of two papers, i.e., Paper I & Paper II.

Paper-I will have 4 subjects, which will contain Multiple Choice Questions on ‘General Intelligence and Reasoning’ will be non-verbal considering the functions attached to the post. Questions on Numerical Aptitude and General English will be simple, of a level that an average Matriculate will be in a position to answer comfortably. Questions on General Awareness will be also of similar standard.

Note:1 Paper-I will consist of Objective Type-Multiple choice questions only. The questions will be set both in English & Hindi. The Commission reserves the right to set the questions additionally in regional languages subject to technical feasibility.
Note:2 There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.
Note: 3 Paper-II will be descriptive in which the candidate will be required to write short essay/letter in English or any language included in the 8th schedule of the Constitution.
Note 4 Paper-II will only be of qualifying nature and is intended to test elementary language skills in view of re-categorization of the post as Group-C and in view of job requirements.
Note-5 Paper-II will be held only for such candidates who meet the cut-off prescribed by the Commission in Paper-I for different categories. The date and time of the Paper will be communicated to shortlisted candidates in due course. Commission reserves the right to set separate qualifying standard in any Part of Paper-I.

Mode of Selection:

Candidates will be shortlisted for the Paper-II on the bases of their performance in Paper-I. Paper-II will only of qualifying nature. The cut-offs in Paper-I and qualifying marks in Paper-II may be different for vacancies in each State / Union Territory will be fixed at the discretion of the Commission. Candidates for each State / Union Territory will be finally selected based on their performance in Paper-I, subject to their meeting basic qualifying standards fixed in Paper-II.

Provided that SC, ST, OBC and PH candidates, who are selected on their own merit without relaxed standards, will not be adjusted against the reserved share of vacancies.
