UPSC CAPF AC Exam 2016 Notification,Application Form Apply Online:

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) notified Recruitment Notice in respect of the Central Armed Police Forces (AC) Examination (CAPF) Examination 2016, scheduled for the 26th of June 2016 (26.06.2016), we have the details for the candidates aspiring for recruitment to various Posts.

The Union Public Service Commission shall conduct on the 26th of June 2016 (26.06.2016), All India Online Written Examination for the candidates all over India For Recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) viz. Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

The Union Public Service Commission shall conduct the Examination in accordance with the Rules for the Examination published by Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA))

Online Registration shall commence on the 12th of March 2016 (12.03.2016).

The Deadline of Online Registration by the Candidates is the 8th of April 2016 (08.04.2016).

e-Admit Cards / Hall Tickets:

The Union Public Service Commission shall upload on the UPSC Website the Admittance Cards / Hall Exam Tickets Three Weeks Prior to the Commencement of the Central Armed Police Forces (AC) Examination 2016 stated hereabove.

Age Limit:

A candidate should have attained the Age of 20 Years but must not exceed the age of 25 Years on the 1st of August, 2016, i.e., he / she must have been born neither earlier than the 2nd August, 1991 nor later than the 1st of August, 1996.

The Candidates belonging to Reserved Categories seeking Relaxation in Upper Age Limit are advised to carefully read the detailed Notification likely to be issued in January 2016.

Educational Qualification:

The Applicant / Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree of a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section – 3 of the University Grants Commission Act (UGCA), 1956 or possess an Equivalent Qualification.

The candidates who intend to appear at such a Qualifying Examination in the English Calendar Year 2016, would also be eligible for admission in the Examination. Such candidates will be admitted in the Examination if otherwise Eligible but the admission would be deemed to be provisional and subject to cancellation if they failed to produce the proof of having passed the requisite examination along with the Detailed Application Form (DAF), which the Candidates shall have to submit Online after qualifying in the result of the Written Part of the Examination are also declared qualified in the Physical Standards Tests (PSTs) / Physical Efficiency Tests (PETs) and Medical Standards Tests (MSTs).

Selection Procedure:

  1. Objective Type Tests
  2. Conventional Type Tests
  3. Physical Standard Tests / Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards
  4. Final Select List concurring with the Final Results drawn up based on the Candidates’ performance and All India Merit List prepared on the Sufficient High Marks secured by the candidates.

Scheme of the Online Written Examination:

The Paper – I comprising Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions printed in the Test Booklet Series A, B, C & D Series shall contain the Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions:

Penalty for Wrong Answers:

There will be Penalty for Wrong Answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers mentioned with Each Test Booklet containing the Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions in English and Hindi Languages as hereunder:

  1. There are four alternatives for the answer to every question printed on the Optical Markup Reader (OMR) Sheet. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, One-third of the Marks assigned to that Question will be deducted as penalty.
  2. If a candidate gives more than one answer, it will be treated as a wrong answer, even if one of the given answers happens to be correct, yet there will be the same penalty to that question.
  3. If a question is left point blank by the candidate, i.e., no answer is given by him / her, there will be no penalty for that question.

Application Fee:

The Ca
ndidates (excepting Female / SC/ST / PH Candidates are exempted from payment of the Fee) have to pay a Fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) either in cash (by depositing the money) at any Branch of the State Bank of India by cash, or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India / State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur / State Bank of Hyderabad / State Bank of Mysore / State Bank of Patiala / State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa / Master Credit / Debit Card.
