UPSC CMS 2016 Notification,Combined Medical Application Form:

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) notified Recruitment Notice in respect of the Combined Medical Services Examination (CMSE) 2016 scheduled to be conducted on the 12th of June 2016 (12.06.2016), we have the details for the candidates aspiring for recruitment to various Posts; viz., (i) Assistant Divisional Medical Officer (ADMO) in the Indian Railways (IRs). (ii) Assistant Medical Officer (AMO) in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Services (IOFHS) (iii) Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Services (CHS) (iv) General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO) Gr-II in East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC), North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) and South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC).

UPSC Combined Medical Services CMS Form 2016

The Union Public Service Commission shall hold on the 12th of June 2016 (12.06.2016), All India Online Written Examination for the candidates all over India.

Online Registration shall commence on the 5th of March 2016 (05.03.2016).

The Deadline of Online Registration by the Candidates is the 1st of April 2016 (01.04.2016).

e-Admit Cards / Hall Tickets:

The Union Public Service Commission shall upload on the UPSC Website the Admittance Cards / Hall Exam Tickets Three Weeks Prior to the Commencement of the Combined Medical Services Examination 2016 for admission into Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery Examination 2016.

Age Limit:

A candidate for this Examination must not have attained the age of 32 Years as on the 1st of January, 2016, i.e., the candidate must not have been born earlier than the 2nd of January, 1984.

The Candidates belonging to Reserved Categories seeking Relaxation in Upper Age Limit are advised to carefully read the detailed Notification likely to be issued in January 2016.

Note 1:

For Admission to the Examination, a Candidate should have passed the Written and Practical Parts of the final MBBS Examination. Note-1: A candidate who has appeared or has yet to appear at the final Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) Examination may also apply. Such candidates will be admitted into the Examination, if otherwise eligible but the admission would be deemed to be Provisional and subject to cancellation, if they do not produce proof of having passed the Written and Practical Parts of the Final MBBS. Examination along with the detailed Application, which would be required to be submitted to the Commission by the candidates who qualify on the result of the Computer based Examination.

Note 2:

A candidate who has yet to complete the Compulsory Rotating Internship (CRI) is educationally eligible for admission into the Examination but upon selection the Candidate will be appointed only after He / She has completed the Compulsory Rotating Internship.

Scheme of the Online Written Examination:

Penalty for Wrong Answers:

There will be Penalty for Wrong Answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers mentioned with Each Test Booklet containing the Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions in English and Hindi Languages as hereunder:

  1. There are four alternatives for the answer to every question printed on the Optical Markup Reader (OMR) Sheet. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, One-third of the Marks assigned to that Question will be deducted as penalty.
  2. If a candidate gives more than one answer, it will be treated as a wrong answer, even if one of the given answers happens to be correct, yet there will be the same penalty to that question.
  3. If a question is left point blank by the candidate, i.e., no answer is given by him / her, there will be no penalty for that question.

Application Fee:

The Candidates (excepting Female / SC/ST / PH Candidates are exempted from payment of the Fee) have to pay a Fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) either in cash (by depositing the money) at any Branch of the State Bank of India by cash, or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India / State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur / State Bank of Hyderabad / State Bank of Mysore / State Bank of Patiala / State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa / Master Credit / Debit Card.
